Sourcing at origin
Buying is done in the producing markets through the season, on visible moisture, colour and admixture rather than on a photograph and a price list.
Intake and pre-clean
Sampling on arrival, moisture checked, then de-stoning, magnetic separation and gravity grading before a lot joins the clean side of the line.
Cleaning and grading
Optical sorting pulls discoloured seed, foreign matter and stem, repeated until the lot meets the purity written into the contract.
Sample and clearance
Checks for moisture, admixture, colour and, where the product calls for it, volatile oil. Third-party residue, aflatoxin and microbiology panels are arranged on request.
Milling and packing
Milled to the mesh you specify, then packed in the format you sell in — PP or jute bags, cartons, big bags or retail packs — with the lot code on the pack.
Documents and dispatch
Stuffing supervised, seal photographs shared the same day, and the document set issued so it reaches you ahead of the vessel.
Lead time
What sets the clock.
Three things move a shipment date: whether the product is in season, whether it needs milling or special packing, and the sailing schedule from the loading port. All three are stated on the proforma rather than estimated afterwards.
- In-season products move fastest, because the lot is cleaned to your purity and packed to your format.
- Milling, blending or retail packing adds a production window, agreed before the order is confirmed.
- Third-party inspection or residue panels add lab time, and we say how much when you ask for them.
- Documents are issued to reach you ahead of the vessel, not behind it.
